How about the expression, "A rising tide lifts all boats."
All boats except Symbian (it's too huge a s[t]inking ship to be lifted by any tide) and Windows Phone 7 ( they made a paper boat in the hope of getting lifted but sadly it looks like the tide is too big for it to ride)

What's with all the developers that won't do Universal Apps?
If you're supporting both platforms anyway, it's actually far less code, and less testing to just do a Universal App. (I know, I've done two of them so far.)

First of all, thank you all for the kind words. I have next to no clue what I'm doing when I'm shooting (yet), as I'm still learning the more technical things. I have an idea about the SS/Aperture/ISO triangle and a few things here and there, but I am just learning how to shoot better.

I don't shop at Aeropostale but just because their shirts are thin, not soft and have random "kiddy" designs.
I do buy a bit of Hollister (lil bro of A&F) but only on sale (normal prices are high) and because their fleece is soo soft.
I had to do a research project once about A&F so I know a little about it.
Gladly, I'm not a fanboy of expensive clothes just for the heck of it.

I tried this on a new server at work a few weeks ago. Dual x5650 eons and 72gb RAM
While I realize that this is the wrong place for it, that iMac I just bought is awesome although I was returning it either way for a larger hard drive so the update is best now.
Direct from DVD, it took Handbrake about 20 minutes to convert a movie to iTunes format. So sweet. And that's the lowest end 21 incher.

I personally believe these days that the look of the phone comes secondary to what is "under the hood".
Yes it helps if it's a good shape with a good screen but if Apple continue to release devices that a technically better the the rest then people will lap it up - the death grip didnt stop so many iPhone 4s being sold did it - people accepted it as the device packed a punch
People buy iPhones because they work well, look good, and are cool/in. I would say that 80% of the iPhone buying world doesn't give a damn what's "under the hood." I fail to see how you could possibly think otherwise.

Been wanting a new TV for a while; and happened upon either an insanely good deal or a pricing error... in any case, managed to snag this 40" Samsung 1080p LCD for $328 at Walmart. My girlfriend picked one up, too, so we have a matching set. :p Certainly far from the nicest set on the market; but that just gives me an excuse to upgrade sooner rather than later. ;)

I find the ip4 to be way too heavy and awkward to hold. I like this design, it allows weight to be shaved off and perhaps (!) be more ergonomically friendly.
I agree that the back should be made extra study and NOT in chrome. I see them using the same type of backing as the ipads...
One more thing that the tapered back will enable is ease of use while its on a desk because the viewing angle will be nicer. On the other hand, it would make it more awkward in landscape mode and for playing game because one side would be thicker than the other. Perhaps its easy to get used to? time will tell!

Ha sound like me...typical college student. I've been selling stuff and have returned about 4 things in the past week because they all sucked!
I don't think this is indicative of a college student. I think it's smart to return things that aren't suited for you. I can think of many people who shop for clothes, for example, and they sit around with the tags on until they're given away because they're too small, dated, etc. ;)
