In 2005 AT&T was passing out 3G SIMS like raffle tickets in phones that weren't 3G -I need some internal wireless guru to tell if that extra hand-off doesn't make a difference.
That makes no difference whatsoever.
A 2G phone simply ignores the 3G features of the USIM.
As far as the 2G phone is concerned, 3G doesn't exist. It has no impact on any network (2G or 3G).

Lol ok buddy. Hope your not waiting for there to be a backlit keyboard in the air because I doubt there will be. Apple took it out of the MBA for a reason not for the heck of it

Here are some other reasons: a 2 kg mbp 13 is a little bit too heavy for me as i need to travel around with a notebook to process my photos. 2 years ago i sold my t61 and replaced it with a x61 because t61 is too heavy and the cdrom is really useless to me. so when i got that the 2011 new mbp is equipped with a superdrive, i was really disappointed.

What most people are forgetting is that if no iPhone releases in June, I, along with many others will need to purchase the extra AppleCare so my phone still has a warranty.

I love the shape of the Mighty Mouse, but not the function (weird right-click). Or the name :)
It's a personal call, and I could get used to it, but for ME, I'd choose a different mouse.
I also have done a 180 on Bluetooth: I now feel that for ME, batteries and charging are more of a hassle than a single cord.
But I wouldn't mind a BT mouse as PowerBook/MacBook's travel companion.

I'm not gonna buy music from Amazon again though, I downloaded 1 song for my Dad once from there. Because iTunes didn't have it, and Amazon emailed me for weeks with spam.
Just change your Amazon account settings. The only emails I get from them are to tell me if an order I placed has shipped.

i live in teh SF bay area (east bay), and i usually get about 4 bars of 3G outside, with about 1mbps down, and 150kbps up (horrible) speeds. but inside... i'm lucky to get two bars of 3G, and i it drops the call more than 50% of the time, and i have to manually switch to edge. and even outside when i get good service, its about 30% fail rate.
Step up your game AT&T, you knew what you were getting into when you saw what this godlike device could do, and what it required to do it. and then you failed to meet the requirements, europe seems to handle it just fine, so what the ****?
at least so far MMS has been flawless, that deserves props

Did they really tell you to use the Shopping Cart feature in iTunes? Because since iTunes 9 this feature is gone now! The documentation you/Apple quoted is depricated unless your still using a pre iTunes 9 version.
I miss shopping cart, but it is still around - called wish list now. Click on the drop down arrow next to the file you want to DL and click "add to wish list." Not sure if it works like this on the iPhone OS though...

I think that black bezel stripe is IDENTICAL to the taskbar in VISTA. It looks good, but its too similar. eek!
They have been in iPhoto for ages. Its Vista robbing Apple again! ;)
One thing im not too keen on is the Safari loading icon. I think the loading bar in Tiger is much easier to see.
If you are working in another window you can see the bar shooting along (or not) the Safari window with out looking directly at it. If they keep this new one then you will have to 'actually look at it' to see where its at.
Some cynics will say im crazy but I think most of you guys know what i mean!
